But today, one of our student's mothers wrote an absolutely beautiful reference in regards to one of our piano teacher Mitchell Mollison. It reads as follows:
"I should have mentioned how great Mitch is. He lets my daughter work at her own pace without any pressure but still teaches her theory and technique. He comes up with ways to make it fun by “mashing” together some songs from the lesson book to make a mega mix, or adding syncopation to the duet part. It’s exactly what we were after to foster a love and understanding of music."
I have incredible respect myself for Mitchell knowing how difficult it is to engage young kids in piano and keep it fun when there's less of an opportunity to share it with others.
Kudos Mitch and keep up the great work!
