We run a mobile music school as a sustainable business in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth while our profits go towards setting up our Social Projects Program in communities all around the world.

About the Role
The Contractor is responsible for the execution of specific events and services assigned to them. MGen is looking for a diverse range of skills and talents in this role. While the key responsibilities are outlined below, MGen is open to various music facilitation skills.
Some examples are listed here:
Music Facilitation Skills: Drumming and body percussion, running vocal groups, AUSLAN interpreters, working with disabilities or special needs, working with the elderly, early childhood music etc.

Successful candidates will be required to clear a Police Check or a Working With Children Check within their respective state (where relevant to the role).

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitation of Student Concerts, either done privately or through Nursing Homes
- Teaching music in our School Holiday Program, either done privately or within community centres
- Teaching music through Community Music Groups either done privately or within Community Centres
- Teaching music through our in school and after school music programs
Desired Skills & Experience
- An understanding of learning and teaching styles/strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience in a diverse range of situations facilitating and / or teaching music.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills appropriate to a quick changing environment.
- High level professional skills and ability to engage with students and / or audience with a high level of energy and drive.
- Effective time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Passionate about the importance of learning and development in a growing and diversified business.
